This Christmas, you can be together apart at The Whitworth. We proudly present our covid secure Drive-In Cinema. Family friendly films include the hilarious Christmas classic, ‘Home Alone’ and the funny man himself, Will Ferrell starring in ‘Elf.’ Hot dogs, minced pie, mulled wine & treats for the kids (and the kids at heart) will be available. Open Air Theatre – ‘Heroes’ by The Chatsworth Players
The Whitworth is proud to add 'Heroes' by Gerald Sibleyras, translated by Tom Stoppard, to it's Summer season. We are excited to welcome The Chatsworth Players to Darley Dale and our beautiful park. The fourth piece of Open Air Theatre on this Summer, in a covid secure environment. The play is on the 30th and 31st July 2021 and shouldn't be missed! 30th July 2021 19:00 Weather Policy: The performance will go ahead unless conditions become unsafe for the company. Whitworth Annual General Meeting
The annual Whitworth General meeting takes place at the Whitworth Centre on the 9th September at 6pm. We hope you can come along for half an hour and hear about what has happened in the last year and what will happen over the next year. There might even be a cup of tea and a biscuit on offer! There will also be a selection of free talks/workshops and a sound bath each day. All talks/workshops and the sound bath are included in the £1 admission charge.
